"Shortly after joining a run club for the first time, I started having knee pain.  Fortunately, I was referred to Jennie.  During my initial appointment, Jennie determined that my knee pain was actually caused by a tight IT band and weak hip and glute muscles.  As she manipulated the affected areas, Jennie explained how the muscles and ligaments should work together and how the body compensates for inefficiencies.  She also showed me strength-building exercises and stretches to do at home and had me repeat them on my own to make sure I was doing them correctly.  I noticed significant improvement after my first visit.  During my second and third visits, Jennie checked in to make sure I was doing the exercises and stretches correctly.  When I first visited Jennie, my knee pain would start about a ½ mile into my run.  After just three visits and doing the recommended exercises and stretches at home, I was able to complete a 10k without any knee pain at all!  I really appreciate how Jennie took the time to find the root cause of my pain, explained how my body should work, and showed me how to build strength and gain flexibility in the areas needed most.  Thanks to Jennie, I was able to set new personal records – pain free!!"
